Crisis Prices for Tenerife Flights

The general drop in tourist numbers is set to get a lift with a flurry of cheap flights to Tenerife.  Responding to the financial  and tourism crises, airlines are dropping the prices of flights from the UK which is expected to boost tourist numbers and benefit residents.

FlyThomasCook are offering flights to Tenerife from as low as £51.99, a service that is set to become very popular with residents.  During the winter, the airline flies four days a week from the Reina Sofia airport in the south of Tenerife to Manchester and Birmingham and three times to Newcastle, Glasgow and Nottingham East Midlands.  Conveniently, they also fly to smaller airports such as Bristol, Cardiff, Leeds Bradford and Exeter.

The easy availability of so many cheap flights should attract increasing numbers of tourists to Tenerife, giving a much needed boost to a flagging economy.  At the same time, residents making their traditional Christmas shopping trips to the UK will be glad of the extra present money.
