Adeje

1 The church of Santa Ursula. (XVI Century)
2 Barranco del Infierno. (Hell’s Ravine) footpath 8 km. Great scenic interest and the second most visited place in Tenerife.
3 La Caleta. Fishing village, good fish restaurants.

Santiago del Teide

4 Playa de la Arena. Beautiful black sand beach.
5 Los Gigantes. Along this coast line stand the impressive cliffs of Los Los Gigantes that plunge vertically into the Atlantic.
6 Arguayo. Canarian craft pottery. From tuesday to saturday 10am to 1pm an 4pm to 5pm. Sunday 10am to 2pm. Monday closed.

Buenavista

7 Masca. Medieval village until recent roads have made it approachable for visitors.

Arona

8 The church of San Antonio Abad. XVII Century.
9 Los Cristianos. Fishing and tourist village. Important harbour where all ferries leave to the Gomera island.

Vilaflor

10 Town situated at over 1400 m above the sea level..
11 The church of Vilaflor.
12 The canarian craft center of Chasna. Open from 8am to 6 pm.
13 Paisaje Lunar. The moon landscape and camping of MAdre del Agua. Very intersting and attractive fottpaths.
14 El Pino Gordo. The giant pine. Important example of canarian pine.

Parque Nacional del Teide

15 Pico del Teide Mountain Teide (Volcano). The highest mountain in spain (3717m) We will face with a large amphitheatre of 16 km in diameter. Two thirds are surrounded by huge cliff walls and Mt. Teide rises approximately form the centre.
16 Visitors Centre. There are two: The first one is at El Portillo and the second one is located mear to El Parador.
17 The cable car. First departure at 9am, last departure at 4pm. Return price: 20 €. Information phone: 922-69.40.38

Granadilla

18 The church of San Antonio de Padua.
19 Los Abrigos. Fishing village with good fish restaurants.
20 El Médano. Fine golden sandy beach with a quiet beauty and one of the best places on the planet for practising windsurf.
21 Cueva del Hermano Pedro. (The cave of the Saint brother Peter) Intersting place of pilgrimage and religious sanctuary, located near to the village of El Médano. It is much easier to get around with a car rental than trying to take the bus everywhere.

Candelaria

22 The Basilica of our lady of Candelaria (The black Madonna) Patron of the Canary Islands. Monday to Friday 9am to 1pm and 3pm to 7.30pm. Bankholiday from 9am to 7pm.
23 The Square of Los Guanches. The square of the basilica is watched over by the Menceyes Guanches (Ancient Kings of Canaries).

Santa Cruz de Tenerife

24 The church of our lady of Concepción (XV Century). 9am to 1pm and 5.30pm to 8pm.
25 The church of San Francisco (XVII Century)
26 The Museum of Nature and Man. 9am to 7pm, Monday closed.
27 The Military Museum. 10am to 2pm. Monday and Sunday closed.
28 The Fine Arts Museum. Tuesday to Sunday from 10 am to 8pm, Saturday and Sunday from 10am to 3pm, Monday closed.
29 The park of Garcia Sanabria.
30 San Andrés-Las Teresitas. Artifical golden beach.

La Laguna

31 The Cathedral of La Laguna. Originally founde in 1515, finished by the end of 19th Century. Closed temporary due to reforms.
32 The church of La Concepción.
33 The Science and Cosmos Museum. From 9am to 7pm, Monday closed.
34 The History Museum Casa Lercaro. From 9am to 7pm, Monday closed.

43 Pueblo Chico. Theme Park on the Canary Islands with miniatures of its most emblematic buildings. Open from 9am to 6pm.

Valle de Guerra

44 Casa de Cartas Ethnographic Museum. A magnificent collection of popular pottery, presentation of the custums of the people, dress. Reopening soon.

Puerto de La Cruz

45 The church of San Francisco.
46 The Hermitage and promenade of San Telmo.
47 The Castle of San Felipe.
48 The botanical garden. It was founded in 1788. Open from 9am to 6pm. 3 €/person.
49 The Martianez Lake. It was built by Cesar Manrique.
50 The Museum of Archaeology. Open 10am to 1pm and 5pm to 9pm. Sunday from 10a, to 1pm, Monday closed.
51 The Loro Park. It is the world largest parrots collection. One of the biggest aquarium of the world (with sharks), Planet pinguin, dolphin shows, sea lions and more. Open from 8.30 am to 5pm.
